Prof. Dr. Eleonora Rohland\, ZiF \nIntroduction: Prof. Johanna Schwarz
(Siegen) \n \nHow can the surveying and measuring of the earth be made
sensorially \ntangible? In this exhibition [1]\, Lyoudmila Milanova
presents a perception \nexperiment that dissolves the boundaries between
nature\, technology\, and the \nbody. It focuses on translating
geophysical and atmospheric real-time data \ninto bodily forms of
 expression. At the center is a 3D-scanned body\, a \ndigital
avatar—this avatar “feels” the Earth—responding to forces \nthat
lie beyond human perception. Can the human body be expanded into a
\nresonance chamber for planetary processes—into a sensor based not on
 \nrational knowledge\, but on sensation? \n \nLyoudmila Milanova
[2]worked as an Artist in Residence at ZiF [3] from \nAugust to October
2025. In her artistic practice she explores the \nrelationship between
nature and its technical representations\, focusing on \nthe tension
between natural processes and the attempt to control them. \n \nAdmission
is free\, please register via the website. \nThe exhibition (5 Novermber
 – 25 February) can be visited during ZiF’s \ncore working hours:
 Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\, and \nFriday from 9:00
 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. \n \nRaum: ZiF \n \n \n[1]
